Guest Elcoholic Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 Coreplayer has a built in youtube channel. You can search and play youtube videos from it. And on my omnia when i open youtube (mobile version, not the regular youtube) from the browser it starts up the built in streaming player and plays it. But that'll only with youtube, haven't had succes with other sites but also haven't tried that many. Anyway, youtube shouldn't be a problem, especially with coreplayer.

Make sure that "Macromedia Flash Video (FLV)" is checked. I'd recommend checking all the video formats.

Guest punkmonkey1984 Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 I never could get TCPMP to work on the Omnia... always crashed. CorePlayer 1.3 works great. yeah it TCPMP does crash. From that link on XDA using internet explorer you click on a video link you get a menu where u can select play save or link. you push play and TCPMP pops up with a address in it so its connecting to the video link but then it crashes, how can i select play but get coreplayer to work with the videos not TCPMP any ideas
Guest Dblocker Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 TCPMP does work great on the Omnia; you just have to grab the special version - look for TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03.CAB Be sure to set TCPMP's Video setting to Intel XScale for best results.
