How do I assign specific ringtones for different people? Am I doing something wrong or can you seriously only have one ringtone?

If im correct, first you have to store the contact onto your phone rather than your sim and then you can assign whatever you want. such as ringtone etc

Thanks for the reply, but how do I do this? Where exactly do I create contacts on my phone?

Enter in the number as if you were dialing it. Click on Menu on the bottom right then go to save to contacts. Click on new contact at the top. Type in the name etc. then save it. '

To set a specific ring tone to a number. Click on that contact, go the menu, edit. After mobile tel: it says Ring tone. Change the ring tone there. You can put new ring tones in your ring tone folder but I believe they need to be on the main memory so don't add too many.

Go to program->Contacts and in there you should see contacts with a phone icon or a sim card icon next to them. If there is a simcard icon next to the contact, it means they are on your sim card contacts.

You cannot assign picture/ringtones to simcard contacts. You must copy the contacts onto your phone. In order to do this, click menu and if you want to make a copy of the contact, click contact. This means you're going to have 2 of the same contact, except one will be on your phone and the other on your sim (just in case you ask why you see duplicates).

If you want to just move them so you'll have one set of contacts, just click move and check the ones you want to move.

Luckily with this phone, we have the option of copying all contacts at once instead of one at a time like some phones. After you copy or move them onto phone storage, you can set pictures/ringtones by staying in the contacts page, click an entry and click open contacts then click menu and then edit, and then boom, you can see all the options including ringtone, IM, picture, etc.

Hope this helps
