I have been trying to set my txt msg tone for some time now. I have the tone i want it to be but when i choose to set the tone, it isnt listed as one of the options. It shows both tones stored on my microsd card and ones saved on my phone. But it doesnt show them all. The file isnt locked. It is an mp3 file. And the file size shouldnt be a problem cuz it is showing tones that are much larger than it. Any explaination as to why it would do this. And also I have a 2gig card but it says my card is full when im only using about 20megs of it. I view the storage on it and it shows I have all kinds of free space but when I try to put more songs on there it says its full.

I don't know about the card, but open up file explorer(start/applications/file explorer) and navigate to where you saved the ringtones and cut them into the windows folder(start/windows) It should then show up on the list

sounds should go in Application Data/Sounds on your device.

did you use the microSD with an adapter in your computer? if so empty the recycle bin. the card may be using part of the capacity as a recycle bin which means files arent deleted fully.

Cutting them into the Application/ sounds worked. But it doesnt explain as to why I have to put the files in there now when it reads all my files on my card and it used to read them outta my documents. Also I didnt use the microsd card with a pc adapter.
