How to Conserve i780 power by dissabling connectivities?

I want to conserve power on my i780. Anybody know an option to disable all other connectivity except normal phone? Auto detection of 3G, EDGE, GRRS & Wifi Hotspots should be OFF. The problem is It still autodetect Wifi Hotspots even if Wifi is OFF. I just wan't to turn them ON manually only on times I need them to conserve power. I can easily configure it that way on my old P990i.
