How to sign a dll?

I'm having trouble signing a dll that I modified and want to put back on my phone. SignCode.exe doesn't seem to work, and I lost it anyway. Does anyone have a solution?

The WM6 SDK requires Visual Studio 2005 or later, and I don't have that, thus it does not install.

I get the feeling nobody likes me here.

This is the second post that has received zero response from members.

I suspect your queries are beyond the scope or experience of a lot of the members here, which is why you haven't received a reply.

DLL signing is not a simple matter- you either need the relevant SDK, or a valid certification process, neither of which is cheap :(

Have you tried posting this query on XDA-Developers? though they don't support the i900, this question may be more fully answered in one of the Windows Mobile development forums there.

I guess I just saw people doing some pretty amazing things here, and figured otherwise.

I'll check with xda, thanks. I just didn't want to get flamed for a newb question B)

Generally, the stuff people do here is by using existing resources. Once you start changing core components, things can start to go wrong!

Never be worried about asking a question- we do not condone flaming, and most users respect a genuinely posed question. The complex ones can take some time to get a reply though :(
