I've got my hotmail and googlemail set up to synch with each server.

The inbox on both works fine, but other folders that I've created online don't synch. Specifically I've got a folder on each account which is called "Emails to keep" for example.

The folder will show up on the list of folders on that account, but it is empty, which means its not synching correctly.

Not that I'm blaming the Omnia, it could be something I have to do online with the account to get it to synch, but at present it only synchs the inbox.

Ideally I'd also like it to synch the sent mail for example, so if I'm out and need to resend a mail I'd sent from home or office, I can forward it again from the Omnia.

Hope that makes sense?

The level of synchronization depends on the protocol used by the email provider.

POP3 will synch only the inbox, whilest IMAP will fully synch also other folders. Exchange server based providers will guarantee the fullest level of synchronization (including contact and appointments).

Google indeed supports IMAP so you should be able to synch all folders if everything is properly setup up.

Thanks for the reply.

Googlemail was setup to use IMAP, but is still not synching my sent folder and other folders. I've deleted the account of the phone and tried it again, but still nothing.

Hotmail was setup when I installed WL Messenger.

I guess I could always try setting that up manually. I'll have a look for the server details later.

Well setting up Google Mail again didn't work. It won't sync the other folders, only the inbox.

Remeber to select (tick) the folders you want to synch in Menu/Tools/Manage Folders.

By default only the Inbox is synchronized so you need to manually select all the others you want like Sent Mail (that is different from Sent Items) , All Mail, Bin, Spam, Starred, etc.
