Guest Mertoglu Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Is it possible to place an other OS on the Omnia? I still hate Windows Mobile... Maybe LiMo or other fast finger friendly OS?
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Installing another OS would only be possible if someone has created another OS to work with the Omnia chipset and drivers etc.

Maybe LiMo or other fast finger friendly OS? 1) Interface can be finger friendly and fast on Windows Mobile. You just need to choose which one you fancy and want to install - there is plenty of choice around. Omnia already has finger friendly interface on top of Windows Mobile. 2) Windows Mobile next release has built-in finger friendly interface. I think you a bit prejudiced towards Windows Mobile at the moment. For me on a combination of what I need from the mobie platform this is the best there is at the moment. As for LiMo here you can find how it looks like on Omnia:
