skyfire and default network settings, help needed

Hey guys, i installed the new skyfire beta and i was screwing with my gprs and advanced connection settings and somehow i think i screwed up my phone. I've got it fixed to the point i can run IE, the IM program and skyfire, however when running skyfire i cant recieve calls or text messages. Did I screw up something or is this just a drawback of skyfire? Can anyone help?
