Using # key to release numbers

is there any way to program a sequence of numbers if your dialing say a voicemail system? on all my older phones I could programs pauses and releases all controlled with the # key, with this phone I cannot, am I thinking too hard about this?

Use the letter p for pause.

You can use P, I always used commas ,,, two seconds each I believe. 1-555-333-444,,,2,,,4 etc. Of course this is only for a static non changing number....
