I followed the directions below to format and boot MSIWINDOSX86.ISO from my 8Gb SDHC card and failed each time. All I got was a flashing dash at the top of the screen. Please, Please look at the directions I followed and correct if possible. Thanks.

1. First you need to erase your SDHC and reformat it. Launch the Disk Utility app in your Utilities folder. Select your USB drive, and under the Erase tab choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Select the Partition tab and choose 1 partition, then click Options and select Master Boot Record. Select OK and then hit Apply.

2. After the reformatting-process, with the SDHC drive selected in Disk Utility, select the Restore tab. For Source, choose the image file of the hacked OS X (MSIWindosx86.iso). For Destination, choose your USB drive. Then click Restore.

3. Launch OSX86 Tools. Click Install EFI/Run FDISK. A Terminal window will open. Then enter the drive to use on the first line. On the second line select Chameleon EFI. Then press install EFI to load code onto your SDHC drive.

4. Eject your SDHC drive. Now insert it into the MSI Wind. Hold down F11 when booting up the Wind and choose your SDHC drive as the startup disk.

5. The OS X installer will launch. When you reach Install Summary, make sure to click on Customize, choose Patches and uncheck Kernel.

6. Run the install, then reboot and you've got OS X on your Wind!

You then have 10.5.4, to upgrade to 10.5.6 just follow steps that others have provided on these forums...

Why don't you just download the Kalyway 10.5.2 iso and burn it to CD and use it with a external CD ROM. I hear mixed feeling on the MSIWINDOSX86.ISO.

Mine worked like a charm and upgraded up to 10.5.5
