Manilla 2D Email Tab keeps hanging all the time!

Hi all,

I'm on my second custom ROM with Manilla 2D on.

Everything absolutely great with both ROM's I've used, except a common fault is that when sliding to the Email tab, Touchflo will lock up rendering the interface useless.

I then have to go to Settings / Today and turn off touchflo and restart it.

My questions are, is there a fix to prevent this happening? The email accounts on the tab are my Virgin Media email, GMail and Hotmail.

I've noticed on a lot of the screenshots for Touchflo themes that people have added "Restart M2D" on the left softkey on the home tab.

I've scoured this forum looking for the correct info to put into M2D Config, with no success.

I don't know if it will help you or not, but I think someone had the same problem before and fixed it by changing the location of the email tab with M2DC. Change email from 4th tab to 3rd or something

Okay, I'm really starting to get annoyed with Touchflo now.

I'm having to restart it at least 10-15 times a day now because moving to the email tab locks up the interface.

I've moved the tab up and down with no change what so ever.

Obviously it has something to do with my email accounts I have on that tab, which are Google, Hotmail and Virgin Media.

Hotmail is set to sync whenever something new turns up, Virgin Media is on a 2 hourly check, and Google is using Push Mail from SEVEN. I thought it would be the Google account but M2D has been doing this for quite a while now before I started using SEVEN.

If anyone knows of a fix please let me know, before I throw my beloved Omnia through the nearest window.

On another note, I have thought about ditching M2D. Yesterday I tried Iphonz but really hated it. Found it slow and unresponsive. Might give WAD a go if I can't fix this M2D issue.

i had the same issue after using pim backup to restore the hotmail account+emails after flashing a new rom

try to uninstall live and install it again after a soft reset
