Guest idoru Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Hi all, I wanted to buy some protective cases (or one case for all of them) to protect my MMC cards that I have accumulated because of my new SPV and my old MP3 player. I found the following sites: http://www.styluscentral.com/rildatsdmmca.html http://www.inanycase.com/ The CardCaboodle is quite cool 8) Does anyone Know of any european sellers? I find it impossible to buy these kind of things on the highstreet stores.
Guest Firaas Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 CardCaboodle, http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=8989 £3.49
Guest idoru Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Many thanks Firaas! unfortunately they don't ship out of the UK - I am based in France so that makes it impossible  No joy finding anything in France either mind you!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 That's just what I've been looking for cheers ;)
Guest crimminsky Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 don't waste your money, I found the ideal card case, go out to your nearest shop and buy some wrigleys extra thin ice strips, the plastic case they come in is ideal for storing a sd/mmc card ;) all for 79p and you get fresh breath too.
Guest idoru Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 LOL buy some wrigleys extra thin ice strips, the plastic case they come in is ideal for storing a sd/mmc card ;) all for 79p and you get fresh breath too. However, can you put it in your back pocket and cycle/ drive/ take an aeroplane to work without damaging the Cards?

Guest crimminsky Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 LOL However, can you put it in your back pocket and cycle/ drive/ take an aeroplane to work without damaging the Cards? yes, its a solid case, try it and see and no, I don't work for Wrigleys
Guest idoru Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 Ah! Its a good idea. Thanks for the tip :!: Orange flavoured Wrigleys - I can taste it now ;)
Guest Gorskar Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 You can get proper cases from http://www.jetmedia.co.uk/ for 50p + vat + postage. I ordered my 128 mb sd card from there, and they chucked one in for free.
