No need to use the "hangup" key it autolocks. Try to play with the settings of S2U2 and find what is more suitable for you.

Open up AE button plus, scroll down to and highlight 'red phone button' then tap in the box where it says Hang up current call or..... In the drop down box select 'handle by AEBPlus' then for single press highlight 'Press Red Button'. For Double press select 'Run Application' and in the programs list select S2U2 tap ok then file and tap save and exit. Now when you double press the hang up key S2U2 locks the phone. Don't forget to disable the windows lock :(

I have this issue aswell, im glad there is a solution!

But could somebody please explain (in reasonably simple language) how I can do this without 'AE button plus' I would love to use the Hang Up Key to lock with S2U2.

Thanks very much in advance!

Also I once read that it is possible to change the text in the lock slider, where it says 'slide to unlock', but now I cant find the page were I read it, so if anybody could help me with this, a link or explanation that would be great also.

Thanks

Thanks!!!

I did it!

The problem is that i can't selet that key to be be used as a long press button (it doesn't work!!)

But if i use the ae button plus (that i recomend!!) just with a double press button it works perfect

Well... i must say i had to congigurate the hang up key with a single press as "red button" to works well using the phone funcion to hang up.

Long press funcion dont work in Omnia (!!).

To change the text in the lock slider, where it says 'slide to unlock' the best and easy way is to look for S2U2 translation file to your own lenguage......

Download the Language Pack for S2U2

How to install

==============

- extract your language's ini file

- rename it to lang.ini

- copy it to the S2U2 installed folder

- restart iLock2

If you need to modify the ini file, make sure it's saved in UNICODE format.

The lang.English.ini file is for reference.

For English devices, the lang.ini can be used to set up the various default options for

S2UText, S2AText, DateFormat, TimeFormat, PhoneNoFormat, ClockPath, Wallpaper & WallpaperL

I have installed AEButtons Plus now, and have set the 'long press' of 'red button' to the S2U2 program, but, when I hold the red button to lock my deivce, it also locks usuing the standard lock,so when it comes to unlocking, I have to do it twice!

Jesse73 said to disable the windows lock....can somebody please tell me how to do this?

thanks in advance

To disable the windows lock go to settings/personal/buttons then scroll along the tabs near the bottom of the screen to 'end key' and change the setting so that it disconnects data calls. Then on the 'wake up' tab remove the tick from 'When device is woken up, lock device'.

One thing tho as mentioned earlier, Long press of the red button doesn't work on omnia, however it works on the green button. Hope this helps.
