I'm looking to buy a BT headset for my Omnia 910, but I wanted to check a few things before I do. What I'm really looking for is a BT headset that allows me to not just make calls, but to also listen to whatever its playing (movies, music, radio, pandora or videos from skyfire). I do not care if it is an earpiece or a full size headset. So my questions are;

--Do I need a Stereo BT headset or a normal BT 2.0 headset will do.

--Depending on the answer above, can you suggest one my price range is from 0-100$ dollars.

Thanks for your reply :(

You don't need a stereo BT headset, but your Omnia actually supports it so why not. If you are planning to use it for movies and music, then I would suggest the Motorola Rokr Stereo BT. I got it at the VZW store for $70 US. Great sound quality and hands-free calling.

I recently bought these: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/a...cc=au&lc=en

They are great for listening to music. Worked better than some crappy Iclip brand I was using before. Paired automatically, Doesn't loose synch and the sound quality is phenomenal. This set lets you connect your earphones of choice(I am using Sennheiser CX400s).

Only downside of this set is that the display is disappointing. Doesn't really show you anything but the battery life and it's in grayscale so it's very hard to see.

I paid about 70USD for these.

You can also look into the DS-280 which in my opinion looks much nicer and has OLED display! But the problem is you cannot use your own headphones which was the sole reason I didn't buy them.

If you're in for some high quality stuff then you may try the Senheisser MM200. They're highly priced but I blv they are worth it.

I would highly recommend the Plantronics Voyager 855. I have one and it's fabulous. A very good compormise between a typical hands-free phone earpiece, and a stereo A2DP headset. Best of all, they can be had for a steal various places online right now, less than half list price.

I love mine. The only complaint is that you have to really experiment around with all the earbuds included to find the pair that stays in your ears well. Minor annoyance for such a small, unobtrusive stereo headset, IMO.
