SPB Mobile Shell Weather Button Gives Black Page

Heyas, maybe someone here can help.

I am using the skin from this page and it's been working fine. Till now.

Now whenever I click the weather icon on the main page, instead of taking me to the weather panel as before, now all it gives me is a black screen. Pressing the call end button takes me back to the main screen.

This is rather strange. I haven't changed any of the SPB files. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Weather pages usually take up a lot of memory, due to a large picture. If you start running out of program memory, the picture will not load and you may get a black screen.

Thanks for the reply but I'm running a custom ROM with around 100MB free space, so memory is not an issue right now. What's strange is that I have re-installed SPB Mobile Shell and I'm still getting the same problem.

I'm thinking there must be more to this. :(

the weather should work in portrait mode. from there just update the weather using the refresh button. I think it happens if you dont update the weather in more than 4 days.

Hi

I had same problem a few days ago. Solution for my was quite easy - I've downloaded installation cabs from spb website, unistalled mobile shell and weather, soft reset, installed mobile shell again, added my city to buildin weather applet. After checked it really works, installed spb weather and it works too. In my case point was in download cabs from website, not from forums.
