how do you sync the omnia to outlook or one note

i have been spending so much time trying to sync my contacts to the omnia that i just want to throw it against the wall!

i found the sync button on onenote but its greyed out so i cant sync it i guess... but does anybody know how to do this?

or at least some easy app that i can sync my stuff on my computer to the phone?
