How to open email links in Opera instead of IE?

If I get an email with a link in it, the link will always open with IE. Is there a way I can change this to open Opera or Skyfire?

make opera your default browser. do this by going into the settings option in opera.

Doesn't work for me. Opera - settings - advanced - Set Opera as default browser is checked but Weatherbug still calls IE when reading weather alerts. I don't use IE on my desktop and I would really prefer not to use it on my Omnia. Is there a reg hack?

Did anyone figure this one out. WeatherBug calls up IE. I would prefer Opera. If you haven't checked it out, weatherbug is awesome and takes up very little in the way of resources.
