Guest jason07 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 I have the exact same problem... It really only started after I updated my rom. Does anyone know of a registry setting for ring vibrate?
Guest dwallersv Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Long shot -- this happened to me when I installed CorePlayer and in it's file associations settings set it to play midi files (most stock ringtones are midi files). Not only would it not vibrate under any cpnl settings, the built-in midi engine wouldn't run either, so I got simplified basic tones playing the ringtone melody rather than the rich, synthesized midi composition. So, if you've installed anything in the way of a music player that can play midi files, and have associated them with the player, this is probably your problem. It's not a CorePlayer specific thing -- it's breaking the file association with ".mid" files with the internal midi engine that part of WM.
