digital frame is used to "scan" business cards. just launch the program and it will open the camera and point the camera to a "paper" business card and it will focus and take the picture automatically, then it reads the info and enables you to add the contact, email, fone number name etc.. so u dont have to go to phone book and create a new contact add email, fones etc.. which takes longer.

The one you describe is a completely different program... it's called Smart Reader

Digital Frame is instead a program (by Samsung ) that make the Omnia act as a (digital) PHOTO FRAME, i.e. shows on the screen one of your pictures. That all it does.

Pretty useless (in fact in nearly all customised ROMS is removed)

Digital Frame is instead a program (by Samsung ) that make the Omnia act as a (digital) PHOTO FRAME, i.e. shows on the screen one of your pictures. That all it does.

My bad :P . got confused, was at work and in a hurry. u are absolutely right. :( it is for using as a clock (digital frame clock).
