Guest barbs666 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 (edited) Is there a way to change the default setting for the "phonebook" as "Phone" contacts and not "ALL" in which it seems to do. I imagine its a registry tweak. Also, does anyone know how to move the default storage of pictures from DCIM->"100sscam" into the DCIM folder as when you try to set a background in the Today screen you cant see the pics in the above folder!!!!!!! Thought that may have been fixed in DXIA5! Thanks :( Edited March 4, 2009 by barbs666

Thanks :( sometimes its easier to get the answers from another forum: http://www.samsung-omnia.org/how-to/howwha...18140/#msg18140 Hide SIM contacts HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone ShowSIM: change 1 to 0 This only shows phone contacts and hides the sim contacts.
Guest bobobird Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Reset and it goes back to default ie Show Sim = 1
Guest Adrynalyne Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 You should wait at least 30 seconds to soft resetting after a registry change. There is lag time from the changes you make, to the time it is written to the device.
Guest aleis Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 could someone send me a screen shot of this? i seem to not have the string "ShowSIM: change 1 to 0"
Guest barbs666 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 could someone send me a screen shot of this? i seem to not have the string "ShowSIM: change 1 to 0" I use SK Tools; Go to registry HKCU -->Control panel --> Phone --> (2nd last option should be 'Showsim')
Guest barbs666 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 could someone send me a screen shot of this? i seem to not have the string "ShowSIM: change 1 to 0" also this thread has a solution too: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...ts/#entry972279 probably does the same thing though, but via a .cab file
Guest bobfrantic Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 also this thread has a solution too: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...ts/#entry972279 probably does the same thing though, but via a .cab file I too would like to hide my sim contacts. I had found a cab by Tylwith that did this well but not able to find it again. Anyone know of its where abouts please post it here. Thanks in advance. I tried a couple others but they are uneffective on my I8000.
