Is there a way to change the default setting for the "phonebook" as "Phone" contacts and not "ALL" in which it seems to do.

I imagine its a registry tweak.

Also, does anyone know how to move the default storage of pictures from DCIM->"100sscam" into the DCIM folder as when you try to set a background in the Today screen you cant see the pics in the above folder!!!!!!! Thought that may have been fixed in DXIA5!

Thanks :(

Hide SIM contacts

HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone

ShowSIM: change 1 to 0

This only shows phone contacts and hides the sim contacts.

Reset and it goes back to default ie Show Sim = 1

You should wait at least 30 seconds to soft resetting after a registry change. There is lag time from the changes you make, to the time it is written to the device.

I use SK Tools;

Go to registry HKCU -->Control panel --> Phone --> (2nd last option should be 'Showsim')

also this thread has a solution too:

probably does the same thing though, but via a .cab file

I too would like to hide my sim contacts. I had found a cab by Tylwith that did this well but not able to find it again. Anyone know of its where abouts please post it here. Thanks in advance. I tried a couple others but they are uneffective on my I8000.
