I'm getting really fed up with this low memory BS, all the software that I have installed on the phone is on my storage, and all my music and photos/videos is on my separate storage card. I cleaned up all the cache/history/cookies from opera and it is still like at 87 out of 88 mb's free. I really dont know what to do anymore. I dont want to be having to do hard resets all the time. Anyone know what can be causing this?? Or a way to fix it will be even better. I know I'm not the only one that has complained about it, but cant really seem to find an answer about it. Thanks for any infor in advance.

I think I saw the error once when I first got the phone, haven't seen it in a while. Does it say main Storage memory or main Program memory is low. If it says low program, then that would be the 'ram' (in a PC analogy) of the phone, in which case you may just have too much crap running.

You actually shouldn't have 87 out of 88 free, after a hard reset I have like 45-55 megs free (don't remember exact amount). If you have 87 free, you may have deleted something that was required, and it is giving you the memory error because it couldn't start the program. I think I did that once when I first got the phone, after a hard reset (and not deleting anything I could find) I haven't seen the error again.

It is not the program one, that one I have plenty of memory free. Its the storage one that is giving me the error, and I do no thave 87 mb's free that is what is being used and the reason why I am getting the low memory error. Yeah last time I had to do a hard reset, but somehow it has crawled its way back up to that number and it doesnt matter what I do it wont go down. What it frustrates me is that I have no idea what is using all that space so that I can either delete/uninstall and in the future avoid this problem.

Download throttlestorage . It will give you a graphical chart of what's installed and how much space it's using. Also get ClearTemp, and run it.

If you sync with windows media player, make sure you sync to 'My Storage' or 'Storage Card', and not i900, since that is the storage memory. (the 88 meg one).

If you can post a screen shot of throttlestorage.

Well I got them and clear temp helped out, but I still have only 9MB free after clearing all the options given. And I'm not quite sure how to read yet the throttle app I gotta read the manual i guess so I can figure why I am so low.

I think you can click export to csv or something. If you pm it to me I can take a look at it for you.

Since you are using i910 - I have seen on other forums that people keep complaining about the "VZAppzone". For some reason it bulids a lot of temp files in the following directory: "My Device / Program Files / VZAppZone / Temp /Temp /". According to those post I read, people find there a bunch of files (even a couple thousand) that can eat up about 30 MB of memory.

Check this folder - maybe it is your case as well.

But because those files like to come back, a lot of people who don't use the "VZAppzone" end up with uninstalling.

Hope it helps

When it sits there, it doesn't do anything. It won't start going until you run the app, or sign in. I only ran it the once, realized it was useless and haven't touched it since.
