Guest jeffrey2000 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 (edited) Did anyone try such a lens before? If I look to the picture it seems like it still has some plastic casing around it not sure though but how else to connect this?!?... Edited March 5, 2009 by jeffrey2000
Guest kav Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 This looks prety interesting, actually i doubt that it will work as the lens is only placed outside the camera, and in cases u are zooming or not, to use this "tele lens", how can the camera on the omnia focus on the image? as far as i know focussing to get a sharp crispy image is all about 1. The quality of the lens and 2. the ability to move the lens forward or backward with respect to the light (image) sensor. but since this tele lens is placed outside the camera and the omnia has no possibility to correct the lens in any way... i doubt that this is actually something that works good. and besides just have alook at the price,, it rather ridiculous for a tele lens that is supposed to be that good as they mention on the site.
Guest jeffrey2000 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 (edited) fixed the pics that were removed... in the pics it seems like you can focus manually aswell. Well it does come with a plastic transparant casing where you can turn this extra lens in itself so it's also good just for protection without this lens. Seems pretty cheap but I would still like someones opinion that actually tried it before I would buy such a (almost too cheap/too good to be true) thing. The company itself is very reliable, I´ve purchased stuff before and arrived really fast within half a day, I ordered my omnia composite tv out cable there at night and got it the morning...
