Pause dialing

I was looking for a way to insert pause when dialing (for example calling card number). Is there a way to insert a time pause (like 2 sec) and/or a hard pause (when you have to press a button to release numbers)?

I searched here but did not find a deffinite answer. I tried inserting P and , but it did not seem to work.
