Guest Stevenh Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 Wait a while. If still no change, then turn off phone by taking battery out. Check you have installed the drivers properly, note that you should be running XP SP2 or higher, but not Vista (never had any success flashing with other than XP). Reboot PC. Plug phone in and try again. If still doesn't work, you can try update with Grand Prix. Not big deal, your PDA version should have been updated but phone part would still be old version. Steven

Guest nvally Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 i did on window7 beta version DXIA5 - official rom, also DXHK3 on vista
Guest Samuelw Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 (edited) Do you guys READ what's being said in the flash-topics. You've to install, the DRIVERS of the CDMA module. Read the DXIA5 topic of TARIL, in the Topicstart you'll have to read and follow the steps. And your phone will transfer into a beautiful DXIA5 machine. Edited March 14, 2009 by Samuelw
Guest laplace Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 mine successed updating to DXIA5 using vista after installing microsof .net 3.5 before starting update (ofcourse run the update as administrator) Both my updates (including DXIA5) have been done with the official roms from samsung using Windows Vista. No problems or need for additional software. The phone has to be connected (synced) to the mobile manager before flashing.
Guest mrcdebenz7 Posted April 22, 2009 Report Posted April 22, 2009 hey did you guys end up solving this issue?
Guest savko Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 You need to have Windows XP OS and ActiveSync 4.5. Instal Samsung drivers, restart computer, connect yuor phone with computer and YOU MUST HAVE ESTABLISHED connection with computer via Active Sync!!! run xxx.exe (rom), restart phone and click start. All should be done. http://rapidshare.com/files/226266120/Sams...odem_xp.zip.zip Drivers
