910 - problem with escalating ringtone fixed

someone on samsung-omnia posted the registry fix that will stop your phone from starting off ringing at a low volume and then increasing (even though you disabled this option from your settings)

works on my 910 (soft reset after 30 seconds of making the change in your registry). thanks to poster noteleks.org for finding it

did you try soft resetting after you made the change? it could just be that it's a 910 only specific tweak, which would suck
