Hey guys!

I am trying to install my omnia on a computer at work (windows XP), but am unable to install the drivers because I don't have admin rights. Anybody know any way around this so I don't have to try and beg and plead with our IT department to install it for me?? :(

Cheers,

what do u mean install ur omnia? do u mean that u want to install active sync?, if so then i believe that u will eventually need admin settings because activesync places some system dlls and uses others as well.

i tried to do this at my work place (since they have blocked zones in the network and i wanted to use my omnia for internet access) but could never succeed.

afaik there's no way around it except for getting an admin's pasword and selecting 'run as' on the installer
