Something eating all my Storage Space

As the title suggests, something is consuming all my storage space.

I installed Shokkas M2D rom based on DXIA2 last month.

Once it had installed, I had 99mb free.

Since then, any apps that I've installed that allow me to choose where they go have gone on My Storage.

All my pictures are on there, music, videos, backups of my apps, M2D themes everything. I don't save anything to the storage space.

Even my Opera cache is set to save to My Storage, and any email attachments are set to go to My Storage as well.

So why the hell have I now only got 72mb free?

I used Cleartemp as well which gives me back a few hundred K, but I'm baffled over what has decided to store itself on the main memory.

What do you really have on your phone that would take up all that memory? Do you use Total Commander? If you do, check your:

1. Device

2. My Memory

3. SD Card

to see what programs you have installed and where (1, 2, or 3.)

Check to see if you have duplicate files with the same data.

Delete duplicate files.

Personally, I leave my CABs on my SD Card, just in case I need to reinstall an app while not at home or near my PC.

Do you have a Memory app that clears out memory such as ClearTemp or MemMaid?

MemMaid has an option to let you know the 1, 2 or 3 above storage usage. Examples: Program files, application data, Documents, My Documents, etc.

Do you have a lot of apps that you don't use?

I need to move my cache location to my storage or the mem card.....what setting did you use to change the cache location in the opera.ini file? I might take a stab at it myself after i backup the file
