Guest suso89 Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 (edited) The problem started like this: I had a gmail user account and because it wasnt working properly (it recieved emails but not sent them) i deleted that account, but before that i had 2 unread emails. After the delition it was notificating me that i have 2 unread emails. Then i set up that mail account again with same settings and everything, i read that two emails but there were still "2 unread emails". Do you have any ideas how to remove that? Its really annoying... :( Edited March 11, 2009 by suso89

Its really annoying... :( I have the same issue. Would love to know how to fix it short of a hard reset. Hard reset wil work, but the moment I restore the email back, the unread count again is incorrect. I suspect there's email in the email databases that cannot be read on the device. There is a program floating around that's supposed to fix the unread count, but it didn't fix the problem when i ran it. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
