Hi I have a Samsung Omni i900 uk version, one of my contacts numbers comes up as private and wont show his mobile number. Im using my old sim from vodaphone and thought i had deleted it. When I go into the menu to phone, fax or email the icons are lit up for mobile and message as if to say I can ring or message him but I cant. Any ideas pleaseeee.

Cheers

Tom

Write the number down and delete the old entry and then add it again, see if that helps.

edit: also make sure he aint hiding his number with 141

You cant hide it on the sim. It probably just means the data on the sim is corrupt

Thanks for the info mate I really appreciate it, someone said that perhaps I had used the activesync software to transfer his details and had opted to hide his number, do you know if this is possible to do. I dont remeber doing this all i ever did was transfer my hotmail contats but i used the phone to do that ??

I dont remember seeing an option to hide the number when transferring via Async.
