Guest shadowsjc Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 (edited) if you let your battery run very low (to the point where the phone and internet stop working), you get a very annoying sound/chirp that you can't get rid of, even if you have the phone on silent. to get rid of this sound, follow these directions: download the attached zip file. it contains a blank .wav file. unzip the wav file and make 2 copies of it. rename 1 of them as: phonepwroff.wav (note the spelling), then place it into your \windows directory. click yes if it asks you to replace the file. you may need to use a 3rd party software like resco or total ce commander in order to put the file there; otherwise, you may get an access error. if you want to revert back, make sure u first save a copy of the original file somewhere else. next, take the other wav file, and rename it as "phoneoff.wav", and also move this 2nd file into the \windows directory. also overwrite it when asked. that's it - this should do the trick.phonepwroff.zip Edited March 12, 2009 by shadowsjc
