Text messages / Email application

I woke up this morning to my phone receiving a text message, alright normal morning. I unlocked my phone and i hit the Text message button, the little envelope. Hmm it didn't load this is weird. Alright i scrolled through the list of programs on my homescreen an found the text enevelope i clicked it. Alright nothing still..

I did a soft reset toook the battery out waited 20 mins turned the phone back on an i pressed the Text button.. Nothing.. If i click the button fast enough i get the loading curser for a split second but no program opens..

If i go to contacts and right key a name an click send a multimedia message nothign happens, for vcarrd either... irratating i know.. I went to My stuff folder an right soft keyed send as multimedia message nothing pops up. IT doesn't pop up if i click Email either, Both the same application.. nothing words..

I don't mind doing a hard reset but i want to know what that message i received this morning is lol, It's driving me crazy.

that looks like a neat program but i don't have unlimited data or any data plan on my phone

i read around forums an all and saw posts about media wizard 3.0 but i'm not sure its compatible with WM6.1 i have it installed an it only shows photos on backup says mms an sms are empty..
