Guest kav Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 (edited) I'll be getting my Omnia tomorrow, i've seen suggestions that you have to charge overnight, some saying its already been charged, so im confused as to what i should be doing first. Any help would be appreciated. u dont need to charge it overnight, well at least i didnt for mine. it is not like a camera or other device, it a smartphone/pda so i dont think that it requires so much first time charging, just a full charge. anyhow, welcome to the club of proud owners of the Omnia. be sure to check it out here quite often, u will get a lot of help from users here. Guest bpivk Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 You don't need to charge it. Li-Ion bateries can be charged/recharged/half charged so don't worry. Just use the phone and charge it when needed. But if you're planing on tweaking it and upgrading firmware you'll have to charge it so it's up to you.
