Guest hieu Pham Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 I just bought my i900 yesterday(version DZHK2), everything was in working order and all the sudden, all the phone calls were dropped, I could make any phone calls, and there was no service indication on the phone, so I thought it was a firmware issue, I went ahead and upgraded to the newest firmware which was DZIA5. after the upgrade, everything was find excepting the signal, I still could not get any signal or any services, please help. I live in the US and My provider is T mobile! Ps: I have tried everything, hard reset, unlock, firmware update, none of those things worked for me!

Guest awarner (MVP) Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 Did you buy the phone new or secondhand? If it was new then you should not have updated the ROM as you may have invalidated your warranty. If the phone is secondhand the person you bought the phone from may have claimed it was stolen or lost etc and the phone may have been blacklisted, but I do not know if that happens in the US it certainly does in the UK. Also try the SIM in another device to prove the SIM is not the issue.

I bought the phone brand new as an international version, the reason why I was updating my rom because i could not make any phone calls. I already talked to my network provider and everything, I dont know what happened, the phone was working fine so it should be working again!
