WAD2 Concept theme - BLACK VERSION in English

Before anything else, this is not my original theme. I just modified it from Gato2008's version, original creator is destri. I liked the theme so much that i decided to do a black version coz i prefer black over white. I changed the icons and colors to suit my personal style.

for reference to Gato2008's thread, click HERE.

> Copy SF New Republic and SF New Republic Bold fonts to the WINDOWS / FONTS folder on your device,

> Copy Shutter02.wav to WINDOWS folder if your device don't have it.

> Install the both themes to MY STORAGE / PROGRAM FILES / LAKERIDGE / WISBAR ADVANCE DESKTOP / THEMES,

then copy METEO FOLDER to MY STORAGE / PROGRAM FILES / LAKERIDGE / WISBAR ADVANCE DESKTOP / THEMES / CONCEPT

> Copy WMP CONTROLS folder (included), to WINDOWS / STARTUP MENU / PROGRAMS in your device

some modifications to the links that i made:

internet - opera

navigation - garmin gps

music - windows media player

video - tcpmp

you might wanna change the links if you're using different programs

update1:

*added system/phone volume indicator/control on upper right

*added wmp volume control for music

*darkened top dock's background

*fix 'NEXT' button issue for music

*fix color mismatches and grid alignments

note: replace your old copy of WMP CONTROLS with the new one in the attachment

minor thingy:

i haven't found a solid solution for the white triangle below the operator problem, but for those experienceing it follow these instructions:

1. long press on the bottom part and activate "Author Mode"

2. long press on the white triangle until a menu appears and select "Delete"

3. long press again on the bottom part and deactivate "Author mode"

--just make sure that you still have the volume control on the music dock

NOTE: Seems like it's different for everyone.fane and Clanegie have it but according to bluey09, he didn't ecounter it

Hi Pal, nice work from this black version!

I've tried it, and i got a long white triangle bar (just like the one from the music dock), at the top right corner of the screen, just beneath my Network Service Provider's name. Is this item suppose to be there? Or did I do anything wrong during the installation.

Also, I using the default phone locks when wakes up from sleep mode. Everything i would tap the power button to put my phone to sleep when not in use. However, with WAD2, I always have problems unlocking the phone. Please advise and help brothers.

can you post a screen shot of where the triangular bar is? i'm pretty sure i didn't place anything like that below the Network Service Provider but i'll check on it. with regard to phone lock, i haven't experienced any problems. i'll do some experiments so i can check for it.

What program did you use? Try using Total Commander or do it while ur phone is in Active Sync so you can just drag and drop from your desktop to your phone.

Hi Mate ,

Nice theme .. keep up the good work (Y) but there are some colour issues with both the themes .. firstly the background on the top dock i.e the one with clock n etc is total black and secondly the tools dock the font colour of word 'File' is not blue its kind of greenish and doesn't go with rest of the font colour used in the same dock for other words/shortcuts.

Hmm... that's odd. I'll do a revision tomorrow to try and solve this problem. Were you able to copy the font files already?

I intentionally made the background on the top dock off-black so it would not blend in the background. I'll make the color a bit darker in the next update so it won't stand out as much. I'll take note of this and make the necessary changes.

Thanks mate appreciated .. Im using destri original french version and cant see any colour diff. in that but truly speaking i love your black theme goes well with all the other modifications e.g black finger keyboard,the phone pad ans etc ... so keep it up bro (Y) .. nah didn't notice any white triangle below the operator ... the only triangle that appears is in the music dock under the wmp controls and that is for volume control .. :(

reinstall the theme and try to repeat. make sure you do the long press directly on the white triangle. B)

i really like this theme but i think you should make a version of it that doesnt have all the sounds when going threw menus. i play on my phone alot jumping from one thing to the next and the people around me get annoyed with all the noise from me shuffeling threw menus. so if you could please make a version without the sounds

i used tahoma for the font.

right now, i'm almost ready to release a new theme - just working out a few bugs. if you don't want the sounds, yyou can manually get rid of them through wad author mode.
