big delay turning on

My Omnia is so unresponsive. I press the power button and it doesn't turn on. I press again, it doesn't turn on. I press again and wait,,,,,,finally it comes on.

after a long time of nothing. I've had the Omnia since December without much problem, just now getting this.

memory is about the same as it was. soft reset doesn't change it. I have noticed that plugged in to the charger, it will turn right on, right away. Hmmmm.

even tapping the screen now seems like i'm "jack hammering" the thing to get a link to open in Opera. Don't know if that is Opera or the phone, but in the end it's the phone anyway. Just hurts when friends show me their very responsive very fast (insert apple unmentionable here).

Sounds like something is using up the system resources, have you installed any applications recently?

well for crying out loud. Today it worked fine. It just goes into these intermittent fits of delaying. So anyway, I'm not going to worry about it. But when it does that, you feel like throwing your phone in the toilet.
