Problems unlocking.

Hi,

I'm having problems unlocking my SPV

I've been following the instuctions but can't seem to get to the menu that lets you press 8 to erase the IPSM

I hold the the record button down while powering on, and get the screen that says.

Press any key to enter the boot loader ...

Press and hold the action key ...

If at this point I let go the voice record key it goes straight to the

Canary MV v0.93

Red, Green and Blue

Serial

Screen

But it also goes to the Canary MV v0.93 screen if I press and hold the action key.

Can someone let me know how long I need to hold the action key down for, and also if I still need to hold the record key down.

PLEASE LISTEN try sd card in when re -booting ,it will work.Have a good look in forum, it does say. Hope this helps :!: :!: :?:

1/ With the SD card in press record and power button.

2/ as soon as the phone starts to power up release the buttons

3/ message should say "card found" then the pre-boot screen saying press action button

you have to be quick or you will miss it.

With the DK update some people HAVE to have the SD card in because

the boot sequence is too fast and they go straight to the canary screen.

I had the same problems - just dont hold the dictafone button 4 2 long or it'll jump to the tr-colour screen. Happy gaming !!! ;)
