Idiots guide to SPB

Hi guys, had my voda uk omnia for 2 days now, looking to update to SPB mobile shell.

Please can someone give me an idiots set by step guide to obtaining this software.

Do i use mbile internet or get it via my laptop and usb, where do i install the file to on my phone etc etc.

Sorry if this has been discussed just trying to find my feet with my new phone.

Is spb direct the only place to get it?

Which are the best websites to get the skins and are most free?

Is the whole process above quite easy to do?
