Okay I for one think that Verizon's whole plan things is soo confusing.

I'm supposed to be getting this phone in a month or so if it's not that expensive according to my mom....she said only if it's just 30 mroe dollars a month

So what i'm wondering is, right now we have the Family Select plan with two lines on it because I just had to have unl texting lol, well I'm wondering if I get the Omnia do we have to upgrade to the Family Connect plan?

OR does that additional 30$ charge for smartphones/pda phones cover unl. data?

I really don't understand what we need to do please help X_x

According to verizon the data plan is just for the phone its on. so you can keep the family plan as is.. at least thats what i understand about it..

Basically you'll just need to pay $30 more a month for the data plan. This covers the one line that your Omnia will be on.

Depending on what plan you have now, you may need to upgrade to what Verizon calls the "Nationwide" plan. It will be exactly the same as what you have now, and exactly the same as what you're paying now, so you won't notice anything different. It just enables your account to be used with your new smartphone.

Hope that helps.
