Hi all! I have just been semi-scammed into buying a verizon omnia (and i have t-mobile) thinking that there would be a place for my SIM card in the phone. Unfortunately i am an amateur when it comes to anything with phones and i had no idea that there would be a problem. Is there any way to flash/unlock my phone to t-mobile? Or will i have to get a whole new headset? B)

No, unfortunately T-Mobile is GSM, and Verizon uses CDMA. They are not compatible with each other. If you still want the omnia, you could get a i900 (you have a i910).

the only other choice might be to activate it under sprint since they use CDMA but i have no idea if it has been done before.

How exactly should i go about doing that? Can I call samsung and have them mail me an i900 instead of an i910?

I don't think they will do that. The only way would be to sell the 910 and buy a 900.

yea i'm sure you can do the "ebay shuffle" and get the i900 without any money out of your pocket. Both models go for the same price about on ebay so sell the i910 and use the money to get an i900.

even though sprint and verizon both use cdma tech, they phones arent compatible on the respective networks
