Guest SStaged Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 (edited) I recently upgraded the Iris Browser to 1.1.4. After launching the app, the optical mouse which is normally set to 'Mouse' is switches to the 4-way navigation mode. In other words, I lose the mouse cursor as soon as the app finishes loading. It's not a huge deal, but weird that this occurred. To get the mouse cursor back, I minimize the app, and go to the optical mouse settings and re-select 'Mouse'. I tried searching here and at samsung-omnia.org but wasn't able to find anything. I was wondering if anyone had run into this issue. It's a great browser btw. Thanks, SStaged Edited March 17, 2009 by SStaged
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Is this browser JAVA? Because if it is it`s normal - all java apps replace the mouse with the 4-way navigation. Dunno why and if there is a fix B)
Guest Chugworth Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Huh, I use Iris as my main mobile browser, and I have not seen this issue. My phone is the i910, and I have not installed anything to give it JAVA app support.
Guest kav Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 i have been using iris browser as well, but not so often due to the zooming and text wrapping inability of iris browser, but never thad this issue with the mouse thing.
Guest Kev23 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 Have got the same problem myself after installing 1.1.4... could be worth reporting on the torch website. Seems to correct itself after you exit Iris.... hopefully they'll fix in future release.
