Guest marind Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Hi, after having lots of problems syncing my calendar with outlook through activesync, its just greyed out and says cant connect - I started to look for alternatives. I found goosync which seems to do what i need. My problem is I cant get it to work either I get: error code =403 when i try to sync. Has anyone else had this problem, Im on vodafone and found this http://goosync.zendesk.com/forums/30163/entries/22871 But Im unsure about changing these especially the proxy settings as I dont understand it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Guest WoZZeR999 Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 If you have a google account, you can use a program like Google Calander Sync to sync your outlook calendar to google, then use google's active sync for wireless push of all calendar entries. Just another option.

I used GooSync for months before Google released their ActiveSync support, but once I switched I never looked back. I prefer ActiveSync because it is faster, it has push support, and it doesn't require any extra programs or services. The only thing I miss is the multi-calendar support, but I can overlook that.
Guest biggy83 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 Why don't you try Microsoft My Phone? https://sn1-p2.myphone.microsoft.com/mkweb/...rt.po?mkt=en-US It is very stable though still in beta. It syncs your contacts, calendar, tasks, messages and more! I've been using it for the past 3 weeks, it is very light, fast and clean. And the best of all, IT IS FREE. B)
Guest marind Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 Thanks for the replies, it turns out google sent me an email 2 hours later and it does sync now. Although it only transfered this months info which is annoying, I may try out your alternatives thanks.
