Stevenh got some problems with the vibration on non m2d rom (STV1L).

Do u have the same issue?

hm.. not really sure what you want here... you mean you want Lite ROM but with HTC task manager 2.1 and camera fix? I can add camera fix into the Lite ROM, the task manager is a very small install that can be done on top of lite rom... or are you wanting google and opera as well?

HTC Task Manager is sometimes hard to install, even with SDKCERTS, so that's why I want it to be cooked in. and yes...also camera fix and opera into the lite rom...google maps are not necessary. B)

So to sum it up:

Your Lite ROM + Opera + HTC Emu DLL's + Camera Fix + HTC Task Manager 2.1 = DREAM ROM if wanted to use landscape (for now)!!!

Total DREAM ROM would be your released M2D ROM with some landscape alternative.. :( And, I am using landscape, as I am using my Omnia as GPS navigation in car. :(

Anyone recommend which version of Opera to use? Sector do you have problem with Opera scrolling on your 6.5 ROMs? I'm going to flash back to stock IA5 and rebuild and see...

JLP_SVK, after I work out good version of Opera to use I'll upload LiteV2. Do you mind if very basic Samsung Keyboard in this one, i.e. only english support? As I will prob use this as my day to day ROM as well...

The standard i900 ROMs do not support voice command through bluetooth headset properly as the audio is not routed to the headset until after the call is established. This is fixed in the i908 ROM which is chinese. So to fix this issue in i900, Liads came up with a fix to replace some drivers however this also caused a few side effects, hence I am not including the fix in to these ROMs. I will however have a new i90S ROM at some point in the next 1-2 weeks which hopefully addresses most of these issues B)

I've tried the standard Opera in IA5 and it scrolls properly but as soon as update to any newer version, can't scroll... any ideas? Sector? I also tried you Omnia keyboard cab on a clean IA5 but it still wouldn't install...

I'll upload LiteV2 tonight with the following:

Opera - standard IA5 version (unless someone has a fix for the new versions).

HTC Emu DLLs

Camera Fix

HTC Task Manager, I assume this can be disabled...

Samsung Keyboard unless I can get a cab working for this...

I will also upload a LMV2 tonight which is as above but with M2D and Google and Fav settings.

no problems with scrolling or zooming here in Opera. only vibra.

Are you using the L or LM version? Which version of Opera you using?

What's wrong with vibrate?

Opera: v15746

On ring&vib cannot vibrate or when i set profile to vibration.

Maybe i need to hard reset if it works for you.

Oh that is the original IA5 version, works fine. Do you have a cab for it?

Just checked my vibrate options, definitely works even straight after flash... using LM just now will try L later on...

Thanks a lot for this ROM, I'm using the M2D Version and it works great !!

Just one question : how can I enable SMS Threading mode ? I can't find the registery key we usually tweak.

Edit : I've found the useful MoDaCo program to change it and it works after a soft reset.

Not tried TT7 on my Omnia yet, currently using IGO 8...

What does the *#0*# code do? I removed most of the test files, but I can give you the files to copy into windows directory to enable the testing features. I think the only useful one I've left out is the audio adjustment one, I can upload that.

OK, here's my next 'Lite' ROM following on from the 20757 version earlier this week.

This is a very fast and smooth ROM B)

Name: STV1L

Base ROM: IA5

Ported to: 21028 XIP and SYS

Updates: CF to 3.5, Flash Lite to 3.1

BT VC Fix: No

Features: User Customisation via SDConfig.txt in Storage Card.

Known bugs: None

Storage: 160MB+ Free

Program: 66MB+ Free

Notes:

I have fixed the previous ROM port issues where mouse pointer is messed up and multi-selection not working in File Explorer.

I did not add the BT Voice Command fixes in as these seem to have been causing a few problems lately so will wait till we get a more stable and complete fix for this with no side effects.

I didn't bother including a phone section in the updater as I really prefer not to touch that part so if you really need to update phone version, use GP or another updater first.

Note that you should hard reset after installing otherwise the task manager may act funny.

You should also choose the Diamond Theme.

There seems to be a problem with scrolling with this Opera version, so use the LM2 version below which uses the stock Opera browser.
