Looks like another North American CDMA carrier is getting our beloved Omnia!

Maybe THEY will provide better ROM support for their customers and we can finally unleash our phones like the folks on the other side of the pond can!

At this point, with the rate the i900 received new ROM's and the manufacturing of new / upgraded Omnia's I don't know if Verizon is going to allow Samsung to do anything for the i910. I have gone to numerous boards, called Samsung USA, called Verizon and even went to credible tech sites that discuss this topic and no one has heard a peep about an i910 ROM update - zip. Of course, they could be plotting some super update and just keeping it under wraps, but I would not bet on it. Mildly disturbing to me at this stage. Oh well.

I would think that the more CDMA carriers that have it, the more chances of "a" ROM update. It's already been stated that all the cooks need is just 1 ROM update and they can start making custom ROMs based on the update. So there's hope I would think...
