Guest xfer85 Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 Im just concerned about the warranty. About to install Taril's DXIA5. I believe if you flash your omnia with a custom ROM, if it bricks, Samsung will not be able to help you with it. I just bought the phone 1 week ago, just incase there is something faulty which i've yet to realise.
Guest Samuelw Posted March 22, 2009 Report Posted March 22, 2009 (edited) They can help you, Just bring your phone back and say you flashed it with an original ROM from the Samsung Site. Did the same thing and got it back within 1 week. They won't investigate the cause of your phone not working anymore, they will just replace the motherboard. That's much cheaper for them, and a better service for you. Edited March 22, 2009 by Samuelw
Guest refugeez86 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 they never know its is because of ur custom rom haha..
Guest xfer85 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Oh, ok. Does warranty plays a part tho? Like if my warranty has ran out, and i bricked, would they still change the motherboard for me? Or will that be done for a fee. Is so, roughly how much, in usd, would that cost?
