How can i turn off GPRS? My weather update is done with an auto GPRS update, i've switched the option off, but i've got wireless connection at home which i want it to make full use of, instead of connecting to everything, including IE, with GPRS option first.

If you have WiFi connected, Omnia should always use it, not GPRS. There might be something wrong with your settings. Make sure you have 'Settings -> Connections -> Browser Connection -> Automatically detect...' checked and your WiFi network 'Connects to: The Internet'.

Hmm, ok, it must be my settings.

Settings -> Connections

I couldnt find the option for Browser Connection. There are only 2 main categories, 'My Internet' and 'My work network'. Below 'My internet' are 'add a new modem connection', 'set up my proxy server' and 'manage existing connections'.

What should i do next?

search harder? the "add a new modem connection" etc is under settings->connections->connections; you need settings->connections->browser connections

Yes, just go one level up and select Browser Connection. Wifi settings can be accessed from 'Settings - Connections - WiFi', click your saved network name and check that 'Connects to:' is The Internet, not Work.

not sure on other networks, but for the i910 on verizon you can go to the settings menu, then connections tab, then click connections. Under "My ISP" click manage, and just delete the login and password info, or edit out the #777 number and it won't connect, it'll try but won't get anywhere without verizon login info. again, not sure if this is similar to other carriers for users of the i900
