i think u can do this by using the option connected home. this requires a DLNA server to be set up with ur home pc. its not very difficult but somewhat complicated to get it to work flawlessly. then u can enter the sharing folder as "my storage" and this will make it available on the pc via wifi.

i tried it myself a couple of time, didnt have time or power to look into it more deeply, but i could connect to my pc and see the movies, music and pictures saved on the pc, on my omnia... but every time i tried to play a music it said network busy. so i just left it since i didnt have enough power to try to figure it out.

using this method u can stream contents from ur pc directly to the omnia (videos, pictures, music)

if u have vista installed on the pc, windows media player 11 should have already the DLNA capability, otherwise there are many other free apps (orb, twonky something...)that can allow u to do this and they can transcode the contents over the air to make it compatible with omnia if they are not in the first place..

Not sure exactly what you mean, but have you tried playing around with the 'map network drive' settings in resco explorer?

So basically you want to access your storage card via wifi on your pc?

Not sure but i think resco explorer does it the other way, but give it a go anyway (i could be wrong)!

now i understand what u would like to do. lots of people who were using nokia n95s were sharing folders from their fone to the pc, ie mapping the drive onto the pc. and it was done using media center which came with the nokia suite programs.

if this is what u want to replicate with the omnia, then my first post will help u do exactly that.

just it take some time and effort i believe to get it working flawlessly, as i mentioned before.

resco explorer will allow him to access the pc drive as ftp (this u are right) but not the other way around, i think, what he wants to do ( and what most people with n95s were doing) is to map the fone drive on the pc, and be able to access it as an extra drive "in" the pc. its like having an extra hdd in the pc,and u can see and access it in the win explorer of the pc.

not exactly what you want, but search for DLNA on google, our phone named it as Connected Home application, i used it to let my Windows Media Player 11 on my PC be able to browse the music, videos and pictures on my phone.
