Guest Th3rmal Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 WOW That looks soooo great, possibly the best UI ive ever seen. Cant wait for it to be available =D
Guest bigmaras Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 This is not only one good project this group: http://tat.se/site/showroom/latest_design.html But all only demo, its strange :]
Guest Th3rmal Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 All of their products seem to be concepts, even though they have working versions of all of them. I wonder why they wont release them... 8-)

I wonder why they wont release them... 8-) The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) is a graphic UI designer for the major manufacturers of mobile devices and gaming platforms. They design specifically for the big guys. I would not expect them to put their technology out there for xda or modaco devs to utilize (I wouldn't want to see the pricetag if they did). You may see some of their designs ported to devices in the future if they can be extracted from the newest devices as they hit the market, but they will probably heavily protect their design work with copyrights etc. They are at the top of the touch screen UI design wars right now. Truly some of the most amazing designers out there. I hope Samsung will use them in the future for whole UI systems instead of the portions of systems they have been doing.
Guest Akshay_LP Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 Amazing stuff. Sad most of this will never see the light of the day, as do most awesome things, or too-good-to-be-true things turn out to be.
Guest kurniawan Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 (edited) what about this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SImOIMcMlk&h...am> Edited March 23, 2009 by kurniawan
Guest bpivk Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 These are all just concept demos so don't expect them to be published untill a developer like samsung (or any other developer) buys the licence, develops the software and puts it on commercial phones that they are currently working on. So to recap: Buy the licence They have to develop it And even then it won't be an update for Omnia but it will be on some future phone.

I get that its only a demo and not a full ui but surely a chunk of the work is done. xda and modaco should be able to tidy this stuff up .. now if only we can get it leaked! GG
Guest taril Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 (edited) This is much better: Edited March 24, 2009 by taril
Guest Maxwell Newton Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 agreed, such a shame this stuff will never get out, its so much more fluid than anything else i have seen B)
Guest GodsGift Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 From where this can be bought?? it cant its a design project for sale to the phone manufacturers ... GG
Guest BamDastard Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 what about this I'm gonna have to say that this one is NOT eyetracking B) , but accelerometer based. It is a very cool idea, but imagine showing off your new UI to a friend. The effect would look really strange to a person not dead on in front of the screen. :(

Guest justpratik Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 are you thinking it is the new version of android? i think they will release the software or may be it will be on new omnia . because they have used omnia.
