How to use drag & drop function to create this look?

I have been using Omnia since last few week, but not sure how can I create this home page look that u see on any advertised Omnia?? pls see atttached file for bigger picture.........not sure how this drag & drop work, what is it???

in the settings, go to today. then select the items tab at the bottom. unselect everything and then select "samsung widget"

Quite like the function, but still is there any way to create my own short cut item list there, on left for easy access??

No you can't. But you can download new widgets if you have the latest rom. Just don't ask me what they are because i don't have the latest rom. :(

you cant put your own shortcut even with latest rom, can only choose from available list

FEHWidgets over on XDA allows you to create shortcuts, and is widget based. you may want to look into that.
