There seems to be plenty available, but some of them looks pretty noobish. Im looking for one that has a professional interface mainly.

Hey there!

I have been using ThumbCal for ages - version 1.25 is excellent for finger friendly navigation and creation of new appointments. Does all the basic things really smoothly.

The default calendar is alright so long as you have a stylus handy.

Agendaone - is also pretty good - and gives nice overviews of your week. but you need to cary a stylus to get the most out of it.

Cheers,

Michael

I've been using ThumbCal as well for quite a while.

As Michael said it is smooth, easy to use and does all you could need.

I'm still using AgendaOne, because is has the features I need (like templates) and the most 'customizable' views. But I agree, it has clearly been designed as a stylus application. In the latest release they've tried to incorporate some more finger friendliness, but they still have got a long way to go. For most day-to-day operations I can now avoid having to use the stylus, but it's tricky sometimes.

ThumbCal and SBSH Calendar Touch both look promising; I'll try every new release. But they aren't there yet in terms of functionality, at least not for me.

I'd try all three and see what you like best.

I am using ThumbCal myself. It is very nice and fingerfriendly - but has one little "flaw" - you can not set recurring tasks.

Recurring meetings (calendar events) are fine, but the the tasks (to do's) just impossible.

I was using Thumbcal, but had an issue where some appointments being created with it would not sync via WMDC. So I use Calendar Touch, which, despite its name, isn't entirely touch friendly, but it works without a hitch.

well ive tried many different agenda's like pocketinformant and spb dairy. Now use todayagenda wich is freeware and gives you a lot of options for displaying exactly what you want. After a soft reset it takes some time to build up but that the only 'problem' i ca think of. I recommend it!

For myself, after a few years of pocket pc devices, PocketInformant is my choice.

Many full functionalities covering all kinds of things you would do with your calendar...

I've used in the past a program called MyCalendar. What I really like about this program, and which I've never seen with any other calendar program, is that it displays your appointments as actual text for each day on the month view instead of just some symbol. It basically looks like a small version of the calendar that you would see in Outlook on your desktop. Unfortunately, it will not expand to our screen size, and like other older programs it is best used with a stylus; it also appears that all development of this program as been halted for a number of years now.

Does Thumbcal replaces the default calendar in M2D?

Yes -- you have to set an option in the app's settings panel, and then it's the default for the system, including M2D.

Thanks, already did it with SSMaPa (the hard way!).
