Guest cmos88 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 Recently I have problem login MSN via GPRS. It says connection problem or the area might have bad reception. But in the same time I can browse internet via GPRS without problem at all. I can also send receive emails via GPRS no problem. I only can login MSN via Wi-Fi not GPRS. Would it be a setting or mobile network issue?
Guest jeffrey2000 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 (edited) Yeh I had the same issue before, it depends which connection i'm using so if i'm on WAP/GPRS it does'nt work, but on 3G or HSDPA it works fine. but I found a workaround.... (Well at least it works for me here in Holland with Vodafone...) So when it doesn't switch automaticly from WAP/GPRS to 3G/HSDPA I can open for example wmtorrent (and start some downloads) and then it manually switches to 3G/HSDPA (if i'm in an area which supports this...) and then livemessenger works fine but most of the time it switches automaticly to the best connection available. I have sorted out. when uncheck proxy setting, i can login MSN and still browser internet via GPRS. don't know why. all settings are austomatically set by sim card.
